The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.

Ark Swift Primary Academy receives a Pupil Premium Grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or who has been entitled over the last six years, and for any Looked After Children.

We are required to publish online information about how we have used the premium.  This statement details our school's use of Pupil Premium and Recovery Premium funding to help improve the attainment of our pupils.  It outlines our pupil premium stretagy (2021-24), how we intend to spend the funding and the effect that last year's spending (2021-22) had within our school.
