On Monday, the whole school had Sports Day.
The children, accompanied by the parents, completed different races including: stilts, skipping, relay, sponges and buckets, three-leg-race, space hoppers, egg and spoon...
EYFS went first, children really enjoyed the sponges & buckets relay. Yellow team won!
KS1 went next, they particularly liked the sack races. Red team won this time!
At lunchtime, all children had a picnic with their friends in the sun.
Finally it was KS2 turn. A child in Saint Andrews said: "this is the best sports day ever." Red team also won!
During the competition everyone cheered for their teams, showing a great level of team spirit. All children were really engaged and committed, showing the Swift Way. It was great seeing all the children working together, showing resilience, team work and sportsmanship.
Thank you to all the teachers and TAs that made it possible. Also a massive thank you to all the parents that joined us.
