Dyspraxia Awareness Week
This week is Dyspraxia Awareness Week. Do you know what Dyspraxia is? Does your child display some signs of being dyspraxic? If so, what can you do to support them? Dyspraxia is different but sometimes paired with dyslexia (it is not uncommon to have both). Signs of dyspraxia include having poor motor-coordination skills. Children with dyspraxia might find holding and using a pencil challenging and also catching a ball. However, they may also be confident speakers and have many of their own coping strategies. If you would like to find out more about dyspraxia please ask Sarah Newlands.
